Online Applications Now Accepted for All State Jobs
Non-civil service position hopefuls can now apply via
Internet
A recent change by the Commonwealth requires anyone seeking a job with the
state to file an application on-line, according to Senator Bob Robbins (R-50).
As of December 9, paper applications are being phased out and on-line
applications are now being accepted at
www.employment.pa.gov
for all non-civil service positions. On-line applications for civil service
jobs are already accepted at
www.scsc.state.pa.us.
"This process is quicker and more convenient for everyone involved," said
Senator Robbins. "Applicants can file from their homes or from public computers
at libraries and PA CareerLink sites. They can do so at a time that best suits
them and they should have easy access to all of the background information they
may need to complete their applications."
More information about state jobs, including salaries and benefits, is also
available at
www.employment.pa.gov. Individuals who have questions about the online
application should contact the Bureau of State Employment at 717-787-5703 or TTY
717-787-0570.
