Sadsbury Township Receives $98,000 in State Funding
Grant to address Foust Road erosion issues
Sadsbury Township, Crawford County, will receive $98,000 in state financing
to rehabilitate a portion of Foust Road, according to Senator Bob Robbins (R-50)
and Representative John Evans (R-5).
The grant awarded today by the Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment
Authority (PENNVEST) will be used toward the rehabilitation of 2,460 feet of
Foust Road.
"PENNVEST funding normally goes toward improvements for water and sewer
service," said Senator Robbins. "In this case, the loan will go toward assisting
Sadsbury Township in curbing erosion that is resulting in sediment running into
Conneaut Lake."
"I am pleased that PENNVEST supported this project," said Representative
Evans said. "This work will address problems around Foust Road, especially
during heavy storms that have a direct negative impact on Conneaut Lake."
