FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Conneaut Lake Borough Receives $10,000 GrantSenator Robbins secures funding for community improvementsConneaut Lake Borough will receive a $10,000 Community Redevelopment grant for community improvements, according to state Senator Bob Robbins (R-50). Senator Robbins was able to secure the funding for the preliminary work needed for Project #1, which involves routing of utility lines in the borough. The money will be used for surveying and engineering work, as well as site clearing and grading. "I support Conneaut Lake's efforts to improve the quality of life and enhance the beauty of the community," Senator Robbins said. "I am pleased to have been able to secure this state funding which will help Conneaut Lake take the first steps toward moving on the first phase of this project." The state Community Revitalization grants are designed to support projects that promote community improvement, public safety and job creation.
