Robbins Announces Farrell Arts Grant

Harrisburg – State Senator Bob Robbins (R-50) today announced that the City of Farrell has been awarded a state arts grant.

Robbins said the $1,850 grant was awarded by the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts to support the concerts held during their homecoming celebration.

"I am pleased to be able to announce this support for the homecoming concerts. The Pennsylvania Council on the Arts distributes funds statewide, and it's important that our local communities get their fair share," said Robbins.

Created in 1966, the 19-member Pennsylvania Council on the Arts responds to requests for support of projects initiated by nonprofit groups, institutions and artists. Grants are awarded with input from more than 100 citizens serving on advisory panels.
