Robbins Announces Titusville Arts Grant

Harrisburg – State Senator Bob Robbins (R-50) today announced that the City of Titusville has been awarded a state arts grant.

Robbins said the $1,836 grant was awarded by the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts to help pay for the city's annual Poetry Day festivities.

"The arts serve to not only educate and entertain, but also to bring the community together for a fun event. I'm pleased to announce this support for Titusville's Poetry Day," said Robbins.

Created in 1966, the 19-member Pennsylvania Council on the Arts responds to requests for support of projects initiated by nonprofit groups, institutions and artists. Grants are awarded with input from more than 100 citizens serving on advisory panels.
