June 23, 2009 - HARRISBURG - Pictured with Senator Bob Robbins on the floor of the Pennsylvania State Senate is Alexis Tracy who will be a senior at Meadville Area High School this fall. Alexis is a member of the Crawford County 4-H, the Western Pennsylvania Riding and Driving Club, and Art Club. Alexis served recently as a guest page for Senator Robbins in the Senate as well as with Representative Michele Brooks in the House of Representatives. As part of their duties as guest pages, the students delivered correspondence between legislative offices, attended meetings and the session of the Senate and House of Representatives. "The guest page program is an excellent opportunity for young people to get a close up view of their government in action," stated Senator Robbins. |
