October 7, 2008 - Pictured with Senator Bob Robbins in the
Senate Chamber are from left to right Patricia McIntosh, Anna Benson, Kathryn
Ammann and Dominik Pfleger, all eighth grade students who attend St. Michael
School in Greenville, recently served as guest pages for Senator Robbins. As
part of their duties as guest pages, the students delivered correspondence
between legislative offices, attended meetings and the session of the Senate and
House of Representatives. "The guest page program is an excellent opportunity
for young people to get a close up view of their government in action," stated
Senator Robbins.

Pennsylvania State Capitol Building is Alan Campbell, a resident of Meadville
and a student at Penn State University. Alan discussed his poster with Senator
Robbins during Undergraduate Research at the Capitol Day. This day is set aside
each year to allow students to inform the leaders of Pennsylvania about the
importance of undergraduate research in the education of college students.

Meadville and students at Edinboro University. Joshua and Janel discussed their
poster with Senator Robbins during Undergraduate Research at the Capitol Day.

college students.

October 6, 2008 - Pictured with Senator Bob Robbins in the
Senate Chamber are from left to right Joe Ferguson, Kate Gilboy, Chris Katella
and Zach Steinmetz, Clarion University students who recently visited the capitol
building to observe an active session day and to gain a better understanding of
the legislative process. These students are all officers of the Clarion
University Political Science Association. Joe Ferguson, a resident of Conneaut
Lake, is the Association's President.

June 12, 2008 - Senator Bob Robbins met with students enrolled in the Methods
in Social Sciences in the Elementary School summer course at Thiel College to
discuss the role of citizenship as well as his role in advocating for funding
for Pymatuning State Park. The students are working with an educational
consultant from Pymatuning State Park on a social students unit this summer.

May 13, 2008 - Senator Bob Robbins (R-50), pictured center, was honored
recently at the Pennsylvania State Capitol Building by representatives of the
Pennsylvania Fraternal Congress with the Keystone Fraternal Legislative Award
for his distinguished service to the Commonwealth. Most fraternal benefit
societies were formed more than 100 years ago to assist immigrants in America.
Today, the fraternal benefit system is a charitable force of nearly 200
individual non-profit benefit societies touching millions of lives throughout
the United States. The Pennsylvania Fraternal Congress is the largest Fraternal
Congress in the United States. |

May 6, 2008 - Senator Bob Robbins (R-50) speaking at a press conference in
the rotunda of the main capitol building in support of the Science Technology
Partnerships Program legislation, better known as "Science in Motion." Senate
Bill 472, introduced by Senator Robbins, would formally enact this program into
law. The Senator was joined by other members of the House and Senate, as well as
participating institutions of higher education, including students and faculty
from Westminster College. |

May 5, 2008 - Senator Bob Robbins (R-50), pictured with
participants of Crawford County LEAP who recently visited and toured
Pennsylvania's state capitol building in Harrisburg. Crawford County LEAP
assists individuals with community integration for adults with cognitive and/or
mental health challenges. |

May 5, 2008 - Broadcast officials were in the state Capitol Monday for an
event organized in part by Senator Bob Robbins (R-50) to alert Pennsylvania
residents who use antennas that they will no longer be able to receive reception
as of February 17, 2009. |

April 30, 2008 - Harrisburg – Senator Bob Robbins (R-50), Vice Chairman of the
Senate Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee, joined family
members of Pennsylvania's National Guard, the Adjutant General, Major General
Jessica Wright and other legislators in the rotunda of the capitol building for
the signing of the National Guard Family Covenant. The Covenant represents a
commitment to the thousands of National Guard families across the Commonwealth.
It formally recognizes the sacrifices made on the home front while families'
loved ones are at war and/or serving around the world. Joining Senator Robbins
(far left) at the table to sign the Covenant is Representative Jerry Nailor from
Cumberland County and Senator Lisa Baker, Chairman of the Senate Veterans
Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee.

Senator Bob Robbins (left) and Lieutenant Governor Catherine Baker Knoll
(Center) met with Suzanne Gale (second from left) and Diane Shafer Domnick
and her husband James Domnick (at right) from Meadville prior to a Senate
ceremony commemorating the life of former Governor Raymond P. Shafer. Diane
is the daughter of former Governor Shafer. Suzanne Gale the daughter of
Augusta Gale, who was the secretary to all the First Ladies of Pennsylvania
from the 1930’s until Mrs. Thornburgh.

Bob Robbins recognizing March 2008 as Youth Art Month in Pennsylvania. Joining
Senator Robbins in Harrisburg was Brooklyn Walsh, a student at Slippery Rock Area
Elementary School who had her artwork displayed in the capitol building.
